Aswan International Women Film Festival to honor veteran French actress Marilyne Canto

The sixth edition of Aswan International Women Film Festival will honor veteran French actress Marilyne Canto.

Marilyne Canto was born on October 18, 1961 in Oran, Algeria.

She is an actress and director, known for her participation in movies such as “Fais De Beaux Reves”, “Sense of Humor”, “Nouilles” among others.

She was previously married to Benoit Regint.

The management of the Aswan International Women Film Festival has signed a cooperation agreement with Plan International Egypt to launch the first specialized workshop in southern Egypt to graduate qualified female trainers to work in the applied training workshops for filmmaking for beginners, under the name of “The Cadre School”.
