Veteran Egyptian actress Aida Abdel Aziz passes away at 86

CAIRO – 3 February 2022: Veteran Egyptian actress Aida Abdel Aziz passed away on February 3 after a struggle with illness, at the age of 86.

Abdel Aziz left her mark in Egyptian cinema, as she participated in many films, including ‘Al-Nemr Wal Ontha [The Lion & The Lady], ‘Afareet El-Asfalt’ [The Monsters of Asphalt], “Fagr El-Islam” [The Dawn Of Islam], ‘Heliopolis’, among many others.

The late actress also participated in many popular television series, including “Yawmeyat Wanis” [Wanis’ Daily Life], “Awraq Masreya” [Egyptian Papers], among others.
