Acquaint yourself with Misr Public Library in Luxor

CAIRO – 26 January 2022: Misr Public Library in Luxor was designed in the form of an open book that includes history, culture and civilization.

The library houses some 53,000 books. It also contains a special room for the Egyptology Department, which is the first Egyptology library in Egypt.

This section includes a rare collection of pictures of Luxor Governorate a hundred years ago and some 10,000 books that include topics on history, art and religions.
