Egypt’s Maha Abou Auf passes away on Jan. 6

CAIRO – 6 January 2022: Egyptian actress Maha Abou Auf passed away in a hospital in New Cairo in the early hours of January 6, after a struggle with cancer.

Auf contracted severe pneumonia and was recently transferred to intensive care, until she passed away.

It is noteworthy that the last artistic presence of the actress Maha Abou Auf, was through the series “El-Harir El-Mokhmali” [Velvet Silk], which was broadcast during the past few months. The series stars Mustafa Fahmy, Dalia Mustafa, Ahmed Wafik, Maha Abu Auf, Walaa Al-Sharif, among others.
