CAIRO – 2 January 2022: On January 2 at 8 p.m., the Cinema Palace is holding a symposium entitled "The Philosopher of Egyptian Cinema" on the occasion of the first passing anniversary of the pioneering writer Waheed Hamed.

The symposium will be moderated by critic Tarek el-Shennawy.

In a similar context, the National Center for Cinema is holding a documentary film workshop at Tharwat Okasha Cultural Center in the Arts City in El-Haram at 4 p.m.

Also, applications are now open for a new course of the free film studies, organized by the Cinema Palace. The course aims to teach students about directing, photography, editing, scriptwriting and decoration. Elite professors and film professionals will be lecturing in the various branches of the course.
