“Murder for Amateurs”, a new book by Ahmed Murad

CAIRO – 30 December 2021: The novelist and scriptwriter Ahmed Murad is preparing to publish his latest book, “Murder for Amateurs,” which is expected to be published soon by Dar Al-Shorouk.

Murad promoted the book by posting a teaser on his official Facebook page.

Dar Al-Shorouk said, in a statement, that Ahmed Murad presents in the book “Murder for Amateurs” a real road map, that helps those interested in reading unleash their imagination, and finish their novel or cinematic project in practical ways based on modern dramatic equations and curves, regulating the flow of their ideas and helping them get rid of creative blockage.

The book "Murder for Amateurs" includes the script of the movie "The Blue Elephant 2" for practical application, and an understanding of the role and responsibility of writing in creating an unforgettable film.

Ahmed Murad talks in his new book about the back-scenes of writing. It is the first time that he writes about how he started and ways in which he developed his approach over the years, during which he published seven novels and five film scenarios; one of them, "The Blue Elephant 2", became the first movie whose profits exceeded the L.E 200,000,000 barrier.
