CAIRO – 27 December 2021: Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Mustafa el-Feki confirmed that Egypt will witness many initiatives, achievements and events during 2022.
He stated that this represents a continuation of the intensive effort made by the Egyptian state at all levels.
El-Feki added that the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, within the framework of its interest in issues related to building the modern Egyptian state, will organize a symposium entitled "The Year 2022: An Egyptian Vision" on December 27, in a Cairo hotel, in which ministers, intellectuals, academics and media professionals will participate.
The symposium aims to discuss a number of important issues that Egypt will witness in the coming year, such as the climate summit, the archaeological openings, the administrative capital, the role of civil society in partnership with the state in achieving development, and the expansion of investment opportunities.
El-Feki stressed that this symposium will witness a diverse presence, culturally, ideologically, generationally and qualitatively, which is what the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is keen on in its programs and activities, emphasizing the importance of pluralism in opinion, as long as it stems from a national ground, which enhances the building of the state, its stability, its renaissance, and its role locally, regionally and internationally.
