Al-Sennari Archaeological House to hold symposium on Mohamed Ali Tawfiq Pasha on Dec. 16

CAIRO – 14 December 2021: The Bibliotheca Alexandrina is organizing a new symposium under the title “Prince Mohammad Ali Tawfiq - A New Vision,” on December 15 at 6 p.m., at the Al-Sennari Archaeological House.

The symposium will focus on the life of Prince Mohammad Ali Tawfiq, and his family and will shed light on the history of El-Manial Palace, as well as the palace's facilities. The symposium will screen a video and showcase photographs highlighting the details of the palace.

It is worth noting that Prince Mohammad Ali Palace in Manial is one of the royal palaces that possess a unique architectural identity. The palace is an architectural masterpiece, as it includes various Islamic art styles.

Surrounding the palace from the inside are gardens that contain a rare collection of trees and plants. The palace is currently used as a museum.
