Official guests of Egypt amazed by National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat

CAIRO – 5 December 2021: During the previous week, ministers, officials and official delegations from a number of countries visited the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat to enjoy the unique artifacts housed in the museum, especially the royal mummies, which were transported in a solemn procession last April from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir.

 

 

 

 

 

The museum received delegations from about 42 countries participating in the Egypt International Exhibition for Military and Defense Industries "EDEX 2021”. In addition, an African delegation of different nationalities visited the museum as part of their current visit to Egypt to participate in the meetings of the second session of the Egyptian-African Center for Training in the Field of Telecommunications Regulatory.

These delegations were received by Ahmed Ghoneim, CEO of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat, who welcomed them and gave them an overview of the museum and its distinguished holdings. The museum curators took the delegations on a tour that included the Central Exhibition Hall and the Royal Mummies Hall.

 

 

 

 

 

During their visit, the delegations expressed their happiness with visiting the museum, describing it as a huge and impressive edifice with distinct and unique archaeological treasures.
