Russian band Parinya to perform in Cairo, Alexandria on Dec. 1-2

CAIRO – 30 November 2021: The Russian House is organizing a concert for the world-famous accordionist Svetaslav Shcherchukov, and his band Parinya, in celebration of the anniversary of the Russian Cultural Center’s establishment in Egypt.

The concert will be held on December 1 at 7 p.m. at the Russian Culture Center’s Tchaikovsky Theater.

For his part, Murad Gatin, director of the Russian Cultural Centers in Egypt, said that the Russian House will organize several activities in the upcoming period within the year of humanitarian cooperation between the two countries, and in celebration of the anniversary of the Russian Cultural Center’s establishment.

He confirmed that the doors of the Russian House are open to the Egyptian public to attend the celebration, which will be in Cairo on December 1 and in Alexandria on December 2.

It is worth noting that the band Parinya was founded in 1989. Over the course of their artistic career, the band toured a number of countries in Europe and Asia, and they have received many awards inside and outside Russia.
