Qubbat Al-Ghoury Creativity Center to host “Rituals of Highness” Sufi concert on Nov. 14

CAIRO – 14 November 2021: The Qubbat Al-Ghoury Creativity Center, will hold a Sufi concert on November 14 at 8 p.m., under the title "Rituals of Highness" that includes Sufi chanting and dancing.

The show is directed by the artist Intisar Abdel-Fattah. The International Peace Message Ensemble will participate in the concert, which includes Samaa Sufi Chanting Troupe Hymns and the Coptic Melodies Troupe, as well as Church Chants Acapella Troupe, Indonesia for Chanting Troupe, Samaa for Instruments & Musical Maqamat Troupe, and Samaa for Sufi Mawlawi Dance Troupe. This is in addition to the participation of the artist Hani Abdel-Hay performing the Sufi Mawlawi Dance.

The show is inspired by various Sufi poems from the heritage.
