Qubbat al-Ghoury Creativity Center to host performance for National Folklore Troupe on Nov. 11

CAIRO - 10 November 2021: Qubbat al-Ghoury Creativity Center will host a performance on November 11 at 8 p.m. for the National Folklore Troupe, in cooperation with the Artistic House of Folk and Performing Arts.

During the concert, the troupe will present a selection of folkloric dances that shed light on the Egyptian character and the authentic Egyptian heritage.

It is noteworthy that the National Folklore Troupe was established in the 1960s, with the aim of rooting all folk dances with their kinetic expressions, clothes and accessories, as well as the customs and traditions they hold, through reformulating and transferring them to the stage.

The National Folklore Troupe performed in 105 countries, and participated in dozens of international festivals outside Egypt.
