November 4 marks Luxor’s National Day

CAIRO – 4 November 2021: The National Day of Egypt’s Luxor Governorate falls on November 4.

Also, November 4, 2021 marks the 99th anniversary of the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb by British archaeologist Howard Carter, who specialized in the history of ancient Egypt.

On this day, it’s worth mentioning that Luxor Governorate is one of the cities  rich in culture and history, as it houses countless monuments spanning back to the ancient Egyptian civilization.
