40th Sharjah International Book Fair launches on Nov. 3

CAIRO – 2 November 2021: The Sharjah Book Authority announced the launch of the 40th Sharjah International Book Fair, under the slogan "There's  Always a Right Book", on November 3, at 7:30 p.m. UAE time and 5:30 p.m. Cairo time, at the Expo Center Sharjah.

Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem agreed to the participation of the General Egyptian Book Organization in the Sharjah International Book Fair in the United Arab Emirates from November 3 to 13.

The Sharjah Book Authority revealed that the new edition of the book fair constitutes a pivotal event in the history of the fair, and reflects the deep experience established by the Sharjah Cultural Project under the leadership and directives of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammad Al-Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, as it opens the door to readers in the UAE, the region and the world on the new book industry in various languages.
