Umm Kulthum Theater in Mansoura hosts Russian theatrical show "People & Images”

CAIRO – 28 October 2021: The General Authority for Culture Palaces attaches great importance to the exchange of artistic experiences with different countries of the world.

On this basis, Umm Kulthum Theater at the Mansoura Culture Palace hosted the Russian theatrical show “People and Images”, directed by Russia’s Oleg Volyntsev and performed by the Ensemble of the Institute of Dramatic Arts in Moscow and students of the Faculty of Performing Arts and the Faculty of Theater Direction GITIS.

This comes within the framework of the cooperation of the General Authority for Culture Palaces with the Cairo International Forum for University Theater, according to a statement issued by the General Authority for Culture Palaces on Thursday.

It is worth mentioning that the activities of the third Cairo International Forum for University Theater runs from October 24 to October 30, under the slogan "A New Egypt - A New Future."

The launching ceremony of the festival was held in the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, while the closing ceremony will be held in the British University.

Ten theatrical performances from different countries of the world are competing for the prizes of the official competition, including performances from Egypt, Tunisia, Oman, Morocco, Russia, among others.
