9th Heritage, Traditional Arts Forum kicks off in Manial Palace

CAIRO – 26 October 2021: On October 26, the 9th Forum of the Egyptian Society of Arabesque and Mashrabiya Arts launched under the title “Egyptian Imprints, History, Heritage and Identity.”

Held in cooperation with the Manial Museum of Prince Mohamad Ali, the forum runs until October 28, and aims to shed light on the heritage, aesthetics, and history of Cairo and the Egyptians throughout the ages.

As part of the forum's activities, an exhibition of traditional crafts, which create handmade products using copper, colored glass and seashells, is held.

Head of the forum Ahmed Abdo stressed that the forum aims to support single mothers and help them live a decent life through learning a craft and manufacturing good products that could be sold in such exhibitions.
