CAIRO – 21 October 2021: On October 21, numerous cultural and artistic events will take place.
The General Authority for Culture Palaces will conclude the activities of the Aswan Festival of Folklore with a celebration of the sun's alignment on the face of the statue of Ramses II. The celebration is organized by the Central Administration for Artistic Affairs in Aswan Governorate, southern Upper Egypt region.
Moreover, Prince Beshtak Palace will host a concert at 7 p.m. for the singer Mohie Salah and his band. Mohie Salah will present a selection of songs from the Golden Era, in addition to the works of the great composers and singers who have enriched the art scene.
On the occasion of celebrating the 48th anniversary of the Glorious October 1973 Victory, the National Library & Archives will hold a seminar entitled "Testimonies of the October War", and an exhibition of historical documents in the Ali Mubarak Gallery.
Last but not least, Pianist Amr Selim will present a concert at 8 p.m., on the Open Theater of the Cairo Opera House, accompanied by the harpist Yasmine el-Harbi and the orchestra. The concert’s program includes a collection of the most famous works of Arabic music that Selim reformulated to suit the piano.
