Egypt’s National Folk Troupe to perform in Al-Ghoury Creativity Center on October 14

CAIRO – 14 October 2021: On October 14 at 8 p.m., Al-Ghoury Creativity Center will host a concert for the National Folk Troupe.

The troupe will present a selection of folkloric dances that highlight the Egyptian character and the authentic Egyptian heritage.

Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem sent the troupe to represent Egypt at the Folk Dance Festival in the Cypriot city of Limassol, from October 4 to 9. The troupe achieved great success and was well received by the Cypriot audience.

It is noteworthy that the National Folk Troupe was established in the sixties, with the aim of rooting all folk dances with their kinetic expressions, clothes and accessories.
