Onsi Abou Seif to be curator,art director for Krzysztof Kieslowski exhibition at El Gouna Film Festival

CAIRO - 3 October 2021:Iconic Egyptian production designer Onsi Abou Seif will be the curator and art director for the Krzysztof Kieslowski Exhibition taking place at the fifth edition of El Gouna Film Festival.

GFF will also honor the late director’s life and works in its annual retrospective exhibition, curated by one of Egypt’s most iconic production designers.

Kieślowski kickstarted his career as a documentarian, debuting his first feature film in 1975.

His work often explored the metaphysical paradoxes of the universe through themes of interconnectivity and destiny. 

Kieślowski was nominated for some of the biggest awards in cinema such as the Palme d’Or, Venice’s Golden Lion and the Academy Awards.
