CAIRO – 28 September 2021: The Luxor Museum of Ancient Egyptian Art will launch a new cultural program in October entitled "The Museum's Cinema: A Window on Egyptian Civilization", on the first Thursday of every month at 5 p.m.
Luxor Museum Cinema aims to educate the public, raise awareness, promote the culture of discussion and establish the idea of accepting the opinion of others.
It also aims to revive the museum's educational and entertaining role, in order to reach audiences of all ages through relying on technology and new means of entertainment.
Furthermore, the museum's cinema targets to correct the historical errors that were presented in some artistic roles about the Egyptian civilization.
The museum's cinema screens Egyptian and foreign films that deal with the Egyptian civilization and films that were awarded international and local awards.
The film screenings will be followed by a discussion with a specialist in the ancient Egyptian civilization.
