CAIRO – 26 September 2021: On October 1, Egypt’s artist Reda Abdel Rahman will inaugurate the first Egyptian art school in New York, USA.
The school is named Portrait Studio & Art School, after the Portrait Art newspaper, which the artist has published in Egypt for several years.
The plastic artist Reda Abdel Rahman, moved to New York and was able to create a state of artistic and cultural activity there, especially among the many enthusiasts belonging to the Arab countries.
Abdel Rahman has held periodic salons that embrace talents of all ages and aim to create a state of emotional communication with the authentic identity amid the days of alienation, strengthening the connection of the new generations to their Arab roots and their artistic and literary heritage.
Since his move to America, the artist has performed in Washington, New York, Oklahoma and Denver.
