CAIRO – 26 September 2021: On September 28, the Egyptian Opera House will organize a concert for students of the Talent Development Center at the Alexandria Opera House.
During the concert, students of the guitar class, trained by Ahmed Abdel Rahman, will perform an anthology of distinguished classic works.
Afterwards, the students of the Arabic singing class, trained by artist Walid Haider, will present a selection of works of the pioneering artists of the Golden Era of Egypt and the Arab world.
It is noteworthy that the Talent Development Center was established in the artistic season of 2004 and includes a group of academic professors.
The center teaches modern artistic techniques and encourages and refines artistic talents, through presenting different artistic classes, including piano, ballet, violin, guitar, oud, choral, Arabic singing, and rhythm. This is in addition to a class designated for students with special needs.
The first festival for talent development, where artistic talents competed, was held after Egypt’s current Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem assumed the presidency of the Egyptian Opera House’s Board of Directors.
