CAIRO - 26 September 2021: Under the slogan "One World, Multiple Cultures", Dr. Khaled El-Enany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, participated in the opening of the first international cultural festival for tasting "Gouter” which was hosted on Saturday in the Baron Empain Palace Garden in Heliopolis.
Baron Empain Palace is one of the main historical palaces in Egypt.
It is located in the heart of one of the most prestigious areas in Cairo, Heliopolis.
Since its reopening in 2020, many visitors flocked to the ancient architectural masterpiece.
Entry tickets to the palace have been decided to be affordable to all society strata.
For Egyptians, the entry ticket will be LE 20 and LE 10 for Egyptian students. For Egyptians over 60 years of age, entry will be granted free-of-charge through presenting the national ID card.
As for foreigners and tourists, the entry ticket is priced at LE 100 and LE 50 for foreign students.
The ticket includes a visit to the palace, the external gardens, the tram, and does not include the Panorama Area [the roof].
The Board of Directors of the Supreme Council of Antiquities approved the opening of the Panorama area [the roof] of the Baron Empain Palace to be visited with a separate ticket.
The ticket price for the Panorama Area is LE 50 for foreigners and LE 20 for Egyptians.
