Gallery Misr to host “El-Rehla” art exhibition for Alia el-Guraydi on Sept. 26

CAIRO – 23 September 2021: Gallery Misr in Zamalek begins its new artistic season with an exhibition for artist Alia el-Guraydi under the title “El-Rehla”  [The Journey].

The exhibition will be inaugurated on September 26 at 7 p.m., in the presence of a group of artists and fans. The exhibition will run until October 10.

“Over the course of my artistic career, I used different techniques, and at this stage I found that using cloth, needles and threads is a new adventure to shape traditional materials, a contemporary form and concept. The title and idea of the exhibition are inspired by the novel “The Time Machine” by Herbert George Wells,” said Guraydi.
