CAIRO – 22 August 2021: In order to commemorate the exceptional Pharaohs’ Golden Parade, which attracted the world’s attention in April,, the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat displays four pieces of costumes and accessories that were used in the procession, in addition to the musical score and the conductor’s baton, in the museum’s reception area.

CEO of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization Ahmed Ghoneim explained that the idea of displaying these pieces comes among the new ideas proposed by the museum’s administration to enrich the museum’s display, commemorating the procession of the royal mummies.

The visitors expressed their admiration of this idea, as they photographed the pieces, which remind them of the event that dazzled the whole world.

 

 

 

It is worth noting that the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization had received the royal mummies in a solemn procession coming from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir.
