CAIRO – 16 August 2021: Egypt’s Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Khaled El-Enani participated in the opening activities of the 29th Salah El-Din Citadel International Festival for Music and Singing.

 

 

 

The festival was launched by Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem and is held in cooperation between the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, and the Ministry of Culture.

 

 

 

Enani expressed his happiness to launch the festival again after a year halt due to the global pandemic, pointing out that the participation of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities in this event confirms its fruitful cooperation with the Ministry of Culture to provide services and creative activities in archaeological sites.

 

 

 

Enani further explained that such artistic events highlight the civilized face of Egypt and raise citizens’ awareness of art, and cultural heritage, which activates the movement of domestic and cultural tourism, and enriches the experience of Egyptians and tourists in Egypt through a rich and diverse cultural agenda. 

 

 

 

Moreover, Enani commended the Ministry of Culture’s role in providing cultural services and activities in all governorates.

 

 

 

During the opening activities of the festival, Minister Enani and Minister Abdel Dayem honored 11 personalities who contributed to enriching the art scene in Egypt and the Arab world, as well as citizens who participated in establishing the success of the festival in the previous editions.
