Arab Publishers' Association announces start of registration for participation in 31st Doha Book Fair

CAIRO – 16 August 2021: The Arab Publishers’ Association announced the opening of registration for the 31st Doha Book Fair, from August 15 and until November 1, provided that November 1, 2021 is the last date for receiving subscription applications; November 18 is the last date for receiving subscription fees; and November 15 is the deadline for receiving delegates' passports.

It was decided to hold the 31st Doha International Book Fair from January 13-22, 2022, under the supervision and organization of the Qatar Center for Cultural and Heritage Events, affiliated to the Ministry of Culture and Sports.

The United States of America will be the guest of honor for the upcoming edition, within the framework of the 2021 Cultural Year between Qatar and the United States of America.

This comes in light of a tradition that the exhibition has followed since 2010, where a country is chosen to be the guest of honor. The beginning was with the United States of America, then Turkey, Iran, Japan, Brazil, Germany, and then France in the last edition.
