Beit al-Suhaimi Creativity Center to host concert for ‘Nile Ensemble for Folk Instruments’ on Aug. 15

CAIRO – 15 August 2021: Beit al-Suhaimi Creativity Center, affiliated to the Cultural Development Fund Sector, is holding an artistic show for the Nile Ensemble for Folk Instruments [Tanoura Division and Nubia Group] on August 15 at 7 p.m.

The ensemble will present a variety of folklore and Nubian heritage songs, in addition to the El-Tanoura dance, and a special selection of musical compositions.

The Nile Ensemble for Folk Instruments is one of the largest and oldest Egyptian folk and musical groups. 

The ensemble has participated in many international forums, and represented Egypt in several competitions. In the rhythms and melodies of the Egyptian heritage, the band shines with models of Egyptian folk songs.
