CAIRO - 7 August 2021: Veteran Egyptian actress Dalal Abdel Aziz passed away at 61 after long struggle with after COVID-19 symptoms.
Abdel Aziz has a vast artistic career that spanned over 30 years.
She was born in El Sharkeya governorate on 1960.
She received her bachelor’s degree from Faculty of Agriculture at Zaqaziq University.
Later she moved to Cairo where late Egyptian director Nour Al Damerdash discovered her talent.
She also took part in several theatrical productions which include “Faris bany Khaiban” “Akhouya Hayiss wa Ana Layiss”, “Houb fee Al Takhshibah” among others.
Moreover, her performance was exceptional in the television series “La” and “Demou Sahibat al Galalah”.
In 1998 She won the best actress award from Television Awards Festival.
She was married to late renowned comedian Samir Ghanem and the couple had two daughters who are the famed actresses Donia Samir Ghanem and Amy Samir Ghanem.
Her performance in recent films is quite different from the performance style that characterized her at the start of her career.
