CAIRO – 5 August 2021: On August 4, the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat received the Spanish tourist group that arrived on Saturday on board the first charter flights from Spain to Luxor since the resumption of inbound tourism in July 2020.
The Spanish tourist group was keen to travel to Cairo to visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization and enjoy the unique artifacts housed in the museum, especially the royal mummies that arrived in a solemn procession from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir in April.
Inside the museum, the group of 114 Spanish tourists was divided into 6 groups, who toured the Central Exhibition Hall and the Royal Mummies Hall to see the masterpieces of the ancient Egyptian civilization, praising the precautionary measures and health safety controls applied in tourist resorts, museums and archaeological sites in Egypt.
The tourist group was also keen to take memorial photos in front of the promotional panels for the Pharaohs' Golden Parade, which the museum kept in commemoration of this exceptional celebration that attracted all countries of the world.
