CAIRO – 1 August 2021: The Cultural Development Fund Sector is organizing a concert for the Nile Ensemble for Music and Folk Singing on August 1 at 7 p.m. at Beit Al-Suhaimi Creativity Center on Al-Moez Street.
The concert’s program includes a variety of folklore and heritage songs, in addition to the famous Tanoura dance.
The concert will be held free-of-charge for the visitors of Al-Moez Street.
The Nile Ensemble for Music and Folk Singing is one of the most important troups that carry the heritage of Egypt, starting with Halayeb, Shalateen, Nubia, songs of Upper Egypt, Delta, and Lower Egypt.
The troupe has participated in many international forums inside and outside Egypt, in addition to several competitions in Egypt.
