Egypt’s Fine Arts Sector to inaugurate 42nd General Exhibition: ‘Art: Memory of the Nation’ on Aug. 2

CAIRO – 29 July 2021: On August 2 at 7 p.m. at the Palace of Arts, the Fine Arts Sector will inaugurate the 42nd General Exhibition, entitled "Art: The Memory of the Nation".

278 artists will participate with 353 artworks representing a number of different fields and artistic trends that reflect the movement of contemporary Egyptian plastic art.

It is noteworthy that during the opening of the General Exhibition, four artists will be honored Mohy el-Din Hussein, late Sabry Abdel Ghani, late Sameh el-Banani and late Ahmed Gad.
