Egypt's Al-Sennari House to present ‘Foam Mosaic’ workshop for children on July 27

CAIRO – 26 July 2021: Al-Sennari House, affiliated to the Cultural Communication Sector at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, will hold an art workshop entitled "Foam Mosaic", on July 27 at 2 p.m. 

The workshop targets children from 10 to 12 years old. It aims to provide children with several different skills such as cutting and pasting, in addition to the artistic ability to use various materials.

The workshop will be presented by the artist Asmaa Abdel Alim, who will work on introducing the art of mosaic, and the used tools in it in a simplified manner. This is in addition to discussing ways to choose and print the design, cut foam mosaic into regular and irregular shapes, and create the final output by combining the small pieces, to form a decorative element for a theme, a story, etc.

It is worth mentioning the artist Asmaa Abdel Alim is one of the most prominent trainers of art workshops in the field of crafts and handicrafts. She also acquires the necessary ability to deal with children and help them benefit from their creative energies.
