Fouad, Mounib to perform at Cairo Opera House on July 2

CAIRO – 2 July 2021:Mohamed Fouad and Ahmed Mounib known as Fouad w Mounib band will perform at Cairo Opera House on July 2.

 

Fouad and Mounib performed a Ramadan concert at Alexandria Opera House on May 14,2019.

Fouad and Mounib represented Egypt at Talborjt International Guitar Festival in Agadir. 

Working in the field of medicine, Fouad fell in love with music at a very early age and used to play the Piano and express his thoughts and feelings through music. 

Mounib is a professional violinist who studied music at the Higher Music Institute Conservatoire then travelled to continue his studies in Germany. 

Mounib and Fouad met in Germany and decided to create the band despite the distance; they performed concerts in various music venues across the country. 

The band is known for playing a special kind of music that is a mixture of oriental music and Jazz. 

The experience of Fouad and Mounib is one of the most remarkable musical experiences in the arena of the Indie music in Egypt. 

The band achieved booming success in Egypt in 4 years only. 

They performed a group of concerts in Egypt and Germany.

 

The band performed a concert on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Salah El-Din Citadel Theater. 

They staged a second concert Thursday, July 5, 2018 during Cairo Opera House’s annual Summer Festival at the Open Theatre. 

In 2019 Fouad and Mounib performed a concert on Friday, February 1, at All Saints Cathedral in Zamalek district.
