Russian TV delegation visits Egypt to film report on unique components of Egyptian tourism

CAIRO – 30 June 2021: Within the framework of the efforts exerted by Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities to promote Egypt’s tourist destinations -especially in the major markets exporting inbound tourism to Egypt including the Russian market- the ministry, represented by the General Authority for Tourism Promotion, is organizing an introductory visit for a media delegation from the official Russian TV to Egypt, during which they will tour a number of touristic Egyptian cities to film a television report on the endless unique components of Egyptian tourism.

The Russian delegation was received by Head of the International Tourism Sector at the authority Maged Abu Sedira, on their first visit to the Giza Pyramids area.

The visit is scheduled to last for a week, and its program include visits to a number of tourist and archaeological sites in the cities of Cairo, Luxor and Hurghada.

Abu Sedira indicated that the Russian TV delegation will prepare an episode in one of its famous promotional programs highlighting the diversity and excellence of the Egyptian tourism product, while highlighting all the precautionary and health measures applied in all Egyptian resorts, hotels, sites, and tourist and archaeological areas.

He also stressed the importance of the Russian market for Egyptian tourism. Its importance is represented in the incoming tourism movement to Egypt from Russia.
