Official poster of 52nd Cairo International Book Fair released

CAIRO – 22 June 2021: The General Egyptian Book Organization displayed the poster of the 52nd Cairo International Book Fair, which is scheduled to officially launch on June 30 but receives visitors on July 1 and runs until July 15, at the Egypt International Exhibitions Center in the Fifth Settlement, under the slogan  “Reading is life."

It was decided to hold all cultural events on the electronic platform, except for the exhibition awards ceremony, professional activity and meetings of book fairs directors, to discuss the nature of the axes on which the exhibition's activity will be based, and to suggest the names of participants from inside and outside Egypt.

The Supreme Organizing Committee of the Cairo International Book Fair had approved a number of decisions, including determining the number of visitors in coordination with the ministries and concerned authorities in accordance with the controls set by the fair’s management, and approving the reservation of tickets electronically to prevent crowding at the gates and to facilitate public entry, provided that these tickets are free of charge.
