CAIRO – 17 June 2021: The Cairo Symphony Orchestra, in cooperation with the Italian Cultural Institute, will presents a concert led by the Italian Maestro Jacopo Sipari di Pescasseroli, on June 19 at 8 p.m. at Cairo’s Opera Fountain Theater.
The concert’s program includes musical selections from the most famous international operas.
It is noteworthy that the Cairo Symphony Orchestra is the oldest in Egypt. It was founded in 1959 by Austrian maestro Franz Litschauer.
Since then, it has contributed to enriching the musical life in Egypt by hosting the most famous musicians in the world and also working to encourage Egyptian musicians, composers, instrumentalists and leaders to promote themselves.
