Zorba Ballet for Greek composer Mikis Theodorakis to be performed in Cairo’s Opera House on June 10-11

CAIRO – 7 June 2021: The Cairo Opera Ballet Troupe, under the supervision of its artistic director Armenia Kamel, will celebrate the 20th anniversary since the first performance of the Zorba Ballet at the Egyptian Opera House on June 10, 11.

The Cairo Opera Ballet Troupe will perform the Zorba Ballet along with the Operatic show “El-Leila El-Kebera” [The Big Night], on June 10, 11 at 8 p.m., in Cairo’s Opera Fountain Theater.

Zorba Ballet by the Greek composer Mikis Theodorakis takes place in a Greek village, and tells the story of the Greek traveler Zorba, who loves life and is adored by women.
