CAIRO – 2 June 2021: On June 5 at 8 p.m., Cairo’s Opera Grand Theater will host a concert for the Cairo Symphony Orchestra during which it will host three Egyptian artists who have succeeded in reaching world-stardom.
The Egyptian stars are Maestro Nader Abbasi, Cellist Ayman el-Hanbouli and Soprano Amira Selim.
The concert’s program includes a selection of the most famous and important works of major authors.
It is noteworthy that the Cairo Symphony Orchestra is the oldest in Egypt. It was founded in 1959 by Austrian maestro Franz Litschauer.
Since then, it has contributed to enriching the musical life in Egypt by hosting the most famous musicians in the world and also working to encourage Egyptian musicians, composers, instrumentalists and leaders to promote themselves.
