Products of “Industrialists of Egypt’ initiative to be exhibited in Adam Hanin Hall on June 2-7

CAIRO – 31 May 2021: On June 2 at 6 p.m., Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem will inaugurate the art exhibition for the products of the first and second stages of the "Industrialists of Egypt" initiative that provided a comprehensive training in Egyptian crafts and professions and took place in all culture palaces.

The exhibition will run until June 7 and will be held in the Adam Hanin Hall of El-Hanager Arts Center in Egypt’s Opera House.

The Egyptian Ministry of Culture organizes the "Industrialists of Egypt" initiative as per the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to continue implementing the axes of sustainable development in the fields that preserve the Egyptian identity and revive traditional crafts. 

The initiative promotes the unique elements of Egypt’s civilization, creating an enabling environment that stimulates the creativity and innovation that would guarantee the survival of the Egyptian heritage on both the material and moral levels.

Additionally, the initiative aims to attract more traditional craftsmen, making economic resources available to them, opening new fields of work that constitute a source of national income and adding more development and constructive utilization of the country's cultural industries.

The “Industrialists of Egypt” initiative accepts students from the age of 18 to 45 years to train in a number of crafts, which are ceramics, khayamiyyah, copperwork (engraving), jewelry shell inlay and wood veneer.
