CAIRO – 20 May 2021: While in Dubai, UAE, attending the Arab Tourism Market, Egypt’s Minister of Tourism & Antiquities Khaled el-Enany, accompanied by Consul General of Egypt in Dubai Ashraf al-Deeb went to the site of Dubai Expo 2020 to visit and follow up on the progress of work in the Egyptian pavilion that will be part of the exhibition.
Dubai Expo 2020 is scheduled to open its doors next October 2021 and will run for 6 months.
The bigger part of the Egyptian pavilion is dedicated to highlight tourism and antiquities in Egypt.
The Egyptian pavilion participating in the exhibition is located in the most important part of the exhibition, next to the pavilion of the United Arab Emirates.
Egypt's participation in this international forum, which is scheduled to open in October 2021 and will last for six months, aims to showcase Egypt's cultural, heritage and tourism potential, which will have a major impact on supporting efforts to increase the number of tourists arriving in Egypt in 2022.
Egypt will be presented as an investment destination with smart cities, industrial zones and the Suez Canal economic zone.
