1502 - Christopher Columbus makes his fourth and final voyage across the Atlantic Ocean.

 

 

 

1798 - The French campaign against Egypt moves from the port of Toulon, led by Napoleon Bonaparte, towards Egypt.

 

 

 

1953 - Major General Mohammed Naguib forms his second government, after the success of the July Revolution.
