CAIRO – 4 May 2021: International pianist Mushira Issa will perform within the Ramadan nights program on May 7 at 9:30 p.m. at Cairo Opera House’s Grand Theater, with the participation of a group of promising students playing the piano from different schools, universities and the Academy of Arts.
The concert’s program includes selections of international classics written specifically for the piano by leading composers, including Chopin, Beethoven, Richard Clayderman, Schubert, Mozart and Tchaikovsky, among others.
It is noteworthy that Mushira Issa holds a diploma from the Higher Conservatory with a grade of excellence and a Diploma in Piano Performance from Vienna, Austria, in 1984. She received her PhD in Music in 1987.
She participated in many specialized international festivals, including the International Cervantion Festival in Mexico, and the International Music Weeks Festival in Sofia, Italy. She won many awards and certificates of appreciation from Egypt and abroad.
Issa presented many distinguished solo concerts in Egypt and abroad, in addition to her participation in the opening ceremony of the Cairo Opera House in 1988.
She was chosen among the 100 global influencers by the Arab BBC Network in 2019.
