CAIRO – 3 May 2021: On May 3, many important events that changed the world map took place.

 

Important world events: 

 

633 - The battle of Walaja takes place between the Persians and the Muslims under the leadership of Khalid bin Al-Walid. Its events took place in "Al-Walaja" in Iraq, and hence the battle was called after the place. The Muslims won the battle.

 

 

1906 - An agreement is approved by the United Kingdom to annex the Sinai Peninsula to Egypt. This is to achieve the British plan to keep the Suez Canal in Egyptian territory subject to Britain and not be contested by another neighboring country.

 

 

1964 - Abdul Razzaq Al-Sanhoury writes the second constitution for Iraq; he also wrote the Iraqi civil law in 1935.

 

 

1965 - American astronaut Red White walks on the moon, being the first to walk in space.
