Caricature exhibition ‘Ramadaniyat 3’ to launch online

CAIRO – 29 April 2021: The Egyptian Caricature Association, the Moroccan Caricature Association, the Kuwaiti Caricature Association and the Jordanian Caricature Association launched an electronic caricature exhibition entitled "Ramadaniyat 3".

Ramadaniyat 3 is organized for the third year in a row; the participating artwork will be featured in a 10-minute video, broadcast on various websites, media, social media platforms, and on the Egyptian Caricature Association’s Facebook page.

The exhibition addresses, through delightful cartoons, the sarcastic situations related to the blessed month of Ramadan, and the impact of COVID-19 on Ramadan customs and rituals in various countries.

Through their caricatures, the participating artists call on people to adhere to the preventive measures taken to battle the global pandemic.

The exhibition includes 84 cartoons.  A total of 79 artists from 15 Arab and foreign countries are participating in it.
