Badia Literature Club presents poetry evening on April 12

CAIRO – 13 April 2021: The Badia Literature Club in the Minya Culture Branch presented a poetry evening entitled "The Status of Bedouin Women in Society" on April 12.

This came as part of the activities of the General Authority for Cultural Palaces that it provides on Bedouin heritage to preserve it from extinction.

Director General of the Minya Culture Branch Khaled Ismail honored the researcher and poet Ahlam Abu Nawara for her scientific and literary contributions in this field. This was followed by a performance by the singer Faraj Al-Faqih.

The attending poets presented many Bedouin poems.
