CAIRO - 11 April 2021:Egypt’s National Museum of Egyptian Civilization will open its Royal mummies hall for public on April 18.
The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat received thousands of Egyptian and foreign visitors during the weekend, to visit the central exhibition hall that was inaugurated on the reception of the royal mummies procession last Saturday.
Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim, CEO of the Museum Authority, explained that the number of museum entry tickets that were sold during Friday and Saturday reached 10,000 tickets, while the number of visitors reached 25,000, among them the visitors who are allowed to enter the museum for free are elderly Egyptians "over the age of 60" Medical staff, people with special needs, public school students less than 12 years old, and students of the Faculties of Applied Arts and Fine Arts, Department of Architecture and Engineering, Department of Architecture and Archeology.
