CAIRO – 8 April 2021: On April 8, Egypt’s Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Khaled el- Enany visited the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization days after its opening. He met with tourists from the Czech Republic.

Here the Egyptian minister of Tourism & Antiquities was getting feedback from the visitors of the museum, who were locals. He was making sure everything was going well and received nothing but positive feedback - Min. of Tourism & Antiquities

 

 

Until April 17, 2021, a 50-percent discount on the ticket price of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization is granted to Egyptians and foreigners. Museum tickets cost LE 200 for foreigners, LE 100 pounds for foreign students, LE 60 for Egyptians, and LE 30 for Egyptian students.

 

 

 

The museum’s official page, an online ticketing platform, and an electronic ticketing platform for museum entry tickets were launched.

 

 

 

It is worth noting that the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization is considered one of the most important projects adopted by the Egyptian state and is carried out in cooperation with UNESCO, to become one of the largest museums of civilization in Egypt and the Middle East.

 

 

 

The museum tells the story of the different aspects of the Egyptian civilization since the dawn of history; starting from prehistoric times to the Pharaonic, Greek, Roman, Coptic and Islamic eras, showcasing the impressive heritage of the Egyptian civilization.
