Major archeological discovery in Luxor’s Valley of the Queens to be announced on April 8

CAIRO – 5 April 2021: Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities is preparing to announce an important archaeological discovery in Luxor, on April 8.

The ministry will hold a major press conference on April 10, to announce the details of the discovery, which is the result of excavation work in the western mainland on the Valley of the Queens Road.

The ministry indicated that the archaeological discovery will have a wide impact due to its uniqueness.

The Valley of the Queens is a site in Egypt, where the wives of pharaohs were buried in ancient times.
