Egypt’s SCC launches ‘Their Creativity for Female Plastic Artists’ competition

CAIRO – 1 April 2021: The Supreme Council for Culture announced the launch of the 2021 competition entitled "Their Creativity for Female Plastic Artists" for those younger than 35 years old.

The Council's Plastic Arts and Architecture Committee organizes, in cooperation with the conferences secretariat and competitions management, competitions in the field of Sculptures that include (ceramics - sculpture), and surfaces that include (oil painting - drawing - graphics of all kinds - all kinds of textile arts).

The results of the competition will be announced on May 20, and the announcement will coincide with the opening of an exhibition of selected samples of some of the works submitted to the competition in the hall of the council at 6 p.m. The exhibition will run until May 28.

Competition prizes: LE 50,000 distributed as follows:

Prize of the Oil Painting Competition: LE 10,000.

Prize of the anthropomorphic work: LE 10,000. 

Prize for Graphics Competition: LE 10,000. 

Prize for Drawings Competition: LE 10,000.

Weaving Arts Prize: LE 10,000.
